Can dogs eat Chickpeas (Cooked)?

Plain cooked chickpeas (cooked) can be tolerated by some dogs in small amounts, but legumes commonly cause gas and should not displace balanced food. Prepared hummus is not the same as plain chickpeas.
Before you feed it
- Cook thoroughly and serve plain
- Gas or loose stool are common
- Avoid canned, salted, sauced, spicy, onion, or garlic versions
