Can dogs eat Orange?
Generally safe
Fine to share in sensible amounts.
Peeled orange flesh can be safe for dogs in very small amounts. It is acidic and sugary, so overfeeding may cause digestive upset.
Before you feed it
- Offer only peeled flesh in small amounts
- Remove peel, rind, leaves, stems, and seeds
- High sugar and acidity may upset the stomach
- Avoid orange oils, extracts, and concentrated citrus products
How much is safe
1-2 peeled segments occasionally for medium dogs
