Your privacy comes first: profile photos are optional, private, and never used for facial recognition, biometric matching, advertising, sale, or AI model training.
Profile photos are optional and private. They are visible to you and may be accessed by authorized NutriPet team members only when needed for support, security, photo review, or legal compliance. They are not publicly listed.
2. Ownership and Permission
- Upload only images you own or have permission to use
- Get permission from identifiable people shown in the image
- Do not upload private, intimate, or sensitive images of another person
3. Prohibited Images
- Illegal, hateful, harassing, violent, explicit, exploitative, or abusive images
- Private, intimate, adult, or exploitative images involving minors
- Impersonation, fraud, malicious files, or instructions for wrongdoing
- Images that infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
4. Moderation and Appeals
NutriPet may remove a photo or restrict future photo uploads if a photo appears to break these rules. We usually provide a visible reason and an appeal option. If an appeal is approved, upload access can be restored, but a deleted image cannot be recovered. Preset icons and initials remain available during a photo restriction.
5. How Photos Are Processed
Uploads are resized, converted to a standard format, and stripped of metadata. We do not use profile photos for facial recognition, biometric matching, advertising, sale, or AI model training.
